Rule of law or ruled by lawyers

Perhaps this could not be a tribal discussion, I have a little hope for that.
Our government above the local level is dominated by lawyers.
I believe that is one of the reasons we have more lawyers per capita than any other nation and why we need lawyers to succeed. Laws are written In legalese and typically only lawyers know that language.
I think that limiting state and federal terms to 2 in each house along with contribution limits would be to the citizens advantage

I agree. Term Limits, limited political funding. Limited career politicians (unsure if this last is wise, balancing experience against accumulated power)
