coffee is actually pretty damn good for you (unless you load it with a ton of sugar/sugar substitute/creamer/etc. or greatly overuse it or are overly sensitive to caffine). it has more antioxidants than tea, just hasn't been as aggressively marked toward that end, probably because its good enough that it doesn't have to be. it has been shown to significantly reduce risk of prostate and colan cancer, parkinsons and alzheimer's (all of which run in my family, except prostate cancer). no way i'd give it up.

You'd give it up if you felt like sh_t after drinking it. I liked it quite a bit before that.

For a while there, back when the economy was good, I was getting coffee from
PORTO RICO IMPORTING CO. they are on Bleeker Street in NYC, have been in business for 100 years and supply the high end restaurants.
I was trying all different types and was making headway into becoming something of a coffee aficionado.
There's little more civilized and enjoyable (assuming you can handle it, that it is) than a cup of Hawaiian coffee made in a french press brewed with Poland Spring water, in the afternoon. It really hurt to let go of that. Superb, well-prepared coffee is like a beautiful woman: there's no substitute.

yes for "TASTE" that is quite true....

your at the stage where you need abundant energy and the coffee Buz
is too short lived....

interesting to read in the news ....of new discoveries that suggest that coffee
is good for health in certain ways... just the same.
