Weekends

Being retired I have the luxury of not fishing weekends and avoiding the chit shows...

I jump on the chance to take son and grandson out mid morning fog and all...

Prepping ready to launch some guy walks by and says I know that boat it in my brother in law neighborhood and never goes out... WTF , we start laughing at the dummy,,,, 2100 hrs. in the last 6 to 7 yrs... ( all of it in my driveway;-) )

Next up is we’re headed out still in the river channel and in pea soup fog Chris is on the wheel I’m bent over digging into a bag for something, I hear “ O No” I looks up there’s a good size CC with radar about to slam into us doing maybe 25 knts, the idiot turns just in time .... WTF good is radar if you’re not lookin at it never mind high speed n a traffic area...

If the son and grandkid wasn’t with me I’d be in jail right now...

The remaining day went great... :-)
