Nice are there titanium lip in your future?

We've got one here that I may scoff someday... it's been sitting in my back maintenance room for over a year...

A good run is better than a bad stand!

Yes they are Joe on some hand carves i want to make.I can't wait for the weekend to play with the new toy as i can now get machinist grade bends instead of the ones i was doing by hand which i was never totally happy with.Plus i am a tool hog i can never have enough tools

Long story, but I got rid of a couple of those that were a little bigger this past summer. I don't do too many of my own lips, but maybe I should have kept one. Ours were rusty and stuck but could have been freed up. After seeing the excitement over it I am kicking myself. Only have so much space though....and they were quite heavy.
If I come accross any more, maybe I wil keep one.....
Congrats on the score!

Don't ever do that again. I want one for my cellar. Next time PM me if you are going to throw anything made of metal away.

That is too often my problem. I am usually on the receiving end of the "treasure". Have accumulated some great stuff though....
I hate to see something good thrown away.

On the bright side they weren't thrown out, we did sell those for a little something.

Well I came across another bending brake. This one I am going to keep.
It is a light one, but works really good for metal lips. I just bent a couple I am using for some 4" goo goo swimmers I've been meaning to finish for quite some time. With this nice weather, I might just get some done soon. I think it originally might have come from micromark or some other tool place.

I am pretty sure mine came from the micro mark catalog. This stuff I have been going through is from a family member who had tons of tools.

It isn't heavy duty, but I got a bunch of flat lips from Mike at CCT and have been bending them with it. Works like a charm. The flat plate has some type of edge that makes a real nice bend in the lip.
