you mean, kind of like the way democrats use superdelegates in their primaries?
That way the democrats don’t have to be inconvenienced by, you know, democracy.
I’m so old, I remember the aftermath of the 2016 election, when democrats were urging electors not to cast their votes for Trump.
Boy oh boy, I’d give a shiny new penny to know what you had to say about that at the time.
