BATTEN DOWN THE HATCHES!!!

This is by far the most electrical activity I've seen in a long time...gotta love living on the bluff facing west

I'm really going to miss the heat

Yikes! what a mess in Providence. Thankfully no injuries, that we know of anyway.

I was driving home from work in it, coming down 88 towards the water it was right in front of me. Hard to keep my eyes on the road, as I have a bit of a weather fetish. When I got home, I put on my raincoat and stood out on the deck to watch the show. I grabbed the little hook I use to lift the screen off my firepit and tucked it in my sleeve, so I could pull an I know what you did last summer on my girlfriends daughter in the slider to the kitchen if she got up to get a drink, but no such luck. Some pranks take years to pull off, but they are usually worth it. What a light show, huh? Did anyone have hail, or high winds/branches down? I saw a front loader buzzing down Drift Rd. at 1 in the morning and coming back half hour later with a bucket full of tree.

Didn't see any hail but a ton of ran, smaller branches down, lightening strikes on neighborhood trees, and power lines down with branches...

Last night looked like how Steven King would portray an electrical storm for a cheesy Sunday night movie...

Got a few shots from the deck...a little overexposed, but this was the best. Handheld digital at 2 seconds exposure.

This was a pretty interesting goof

Looks like lightening, but it's really just a streetlight
