Great story of the past fishing Nantucket Shoals in Nov: When the November winds sweep over the sandbars near - 11.18.68 - SI Vault

Great read would love to give it a try this fall but wonder if the fishing is as good as it was in 1968

we were headed east that day.

(New powerhead being shipped today from Seattle)

water is almost always warmer way to the east. Old timers used to say that if you're catching longfins just keep heading east.

As far east as the water has been the past couple of years catching penguins isn't all that bad.

Haven't been out there in 40 years, bout all I remember is the pop ups,, gets your attention! Rubber bungy & hand line
