That $31,000.00 In Somerville........

I am betting its in some smart cops pockets and not buried in the landfill in New Hampshire as reported....what a great crime....who is going to dig under 120 tons of garbage to retrieve the money? Who is dumb enough to dump a desk without clearing it out first....I am betting this story is not over yet and they will be looking at the cops who did the "cleaning"!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

I know we have a few members here "on the job", but with all due respect, that was the very first thing I thought as well.

My comments are in no way reflecting the folks on here who serve us well. My comments are directed at the individuals responsible for "losing" that money. No other evidence "accidentally" got trashed? Just the $31,000.00??? Come on!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Funny I thought the same thing, there is no way they threw anything out without checking. If so then they should not be cops, they don't have the brains for it

Who would even think of putting that kind of money in a drawer. You'd think they'd have a safe, but maybe they threw that away too?

You're right

Big Bo & Bigfish....I agree with you both.

First of all the supervisor of the evidence room should be fired or have his pay docked $31,000.00 for either him or letting the stupid putz put 31k in a desk draw.

Second.......I never met a cop who didn't open up a desk draw to look inside, because if we are anything its nosey. So anyone who says the money was in the draw when it went to the dump is nuts or lying.

Third......ah thier isn't a third.

Hahaha, number two is so damn right, I have never met a cop who wasn't nosey, no way did all those cops not open the draw, I wonder how many ways the money was split?
