Off to a good start

Took her for a little R&R and a break from reality over the weekend.
Boat ran great and I came home almost as heavy as I left.
84" 248# dressed Solo

I missed the harpoon shot totally and had to lip the thing like a bass! messed up my hand a little but well worth it.
As I was hanging off the transom with this 300# fish by the lip I couldn't reach ANYTHING to gaff it, stab it, lasso it or help me out. I managed to walk it over and open the tuna door where I grabbed the safety strap off of the rod and heaved it thru it's mouth and out it's gills and clipped it back on itself. That's the blue line here

Way to go Mike, a lot of things have to go right to land one solo! CONGRATS

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

The first time I ate the heart. I had a bite kind of like a hazing my brother got me to do. Threw the rest overboard and after finishing the mouthful I said I should not have thrown that out! It was Good.
