another QUESTION ?

Idid a search on PAINTED LIPS, just wanted to try a couple. BUT couldn't find any INFO, just some PIC'S of them, can anyone tell me the PROCESS or how to get the LIPS ready to take paint. I use rattle cans

I think a brass wire wheel will scuff the SS lips enough so paint will adhere to it better, also clean it with denatured alcohol or MEK.

to paint the lips,you need to scuff the ss the brass wire wheel should work although the steel is pretty "hard" you might be just as well off to use some 150 or 200 grit paper.you only need to scuff it enough to give the paint something to 'BITE" to.use a primer as a base the top with what ever you please,hope this helps ya.good luck
