I really have to set time of day for kayaking, except when work or committments intervene.
I enjoy fishing during the day for the sights as much as the fish, but at night its all about the fish!
I thoroughly enjoy not being able to see the fish, and having to rely on your sense of hearing and touch to catch what's there.
If nothing else, it makes you a better angler and keeps you alert to your surroundings.

That's why I took up night ice fishing.

Haven't fished at night in it yet, but will be giving it a go this coming season. Nebe, are you now officially in the Yak Rats?

So long as out of the boat traffic, I'm a day kayaker. Can't claim great success with the fish, but it sure brings the blood pressure down.
