where's aplace to buy a quality pocketknife

Hi Guys
looking for an edc knife. In rhode island. One of those things where I want it in hand before purchase. SOG, benchmade, ect

any recommendations on where to go besides the box stores (ie #^&#^&#^&#^&s)

I had a SOG arc lock that was really nice, solid build and it opened as fast as a switchblade. Lost it somewhere a few years ago.

I have a mission neck knife I wear on my chest as a back up. Never comes out of the sheath, laser sharp with a serrated portion. I run a straight titanium n dive knife on my belt as a general purpose. I bet mission makes one hell of a folding blade!!

Remember if you had to stab someone in defense , Its better to rip the wound than to slice . Takes much longer to heal and invites infection . A real reminder !
