Lathe

smann, I bought one about 3 months ago because of the reviews and it's been great. I just started making my own plugs, and was at plug fest today, WOW is all I can say about that. I have turned lots of plugs already and it has proved to be very steady and easy to use. It is an MT2 so you may want look into accessories for it like drill bit etc.
