More complaining about the weather!

So we have another storm on our hands going into the weekend

I have a wedding all weekend so it's not a huge deal for me but this spring has been brutal! I am going to try to get out on Sunday and I'm hoping the water isn't too dirty..

10-20 mph in Truro.

same with the "Moon signs" specifically
when it's in a water sign

Yeah I just get frustrated when the water gets all dirty and munged up after these NE blows and it seems to take time for it to clean up. Hopefully it's not too bad though!

Then after all is said and done with the rain, we have to look forward to the mosquitos and all the fun they bring to the picnic!

I am a legend in my own mind!

speaking of Rain....

driving out of Providence this mornin
I'd hit these invisible puddles that would yank your vehicle suddenly to the right and scare you half to death sending a huge
rush of fear energy through your nervous system. NOT FUN

If you're going to hydroplane, do it with all four tires!
doing it with only one side of the vehicle is like only wearing one skate!

Seriously, after all the rain and poor drainage areas on main roads and highways, be wary of ANY standing water on the road!

I am a legend in my own mind!

Speaking of Mosquitos. Try this- Take a couple 2 liter soda bottles and cut the top off about 2 inches below the shoulder of the bottle. Add a few cups of sugar to a pot and add about 9 cups of water. Boil the water to dissolve the sugar. Let the water cool to 90 degrees and pitch in some dry yeast and pour equally between the soda bottles. Then slide the top of the bottle into the bottom section, but position it upside down so it looks like an eel trap. Place the bottles on the upwind side of your yard. After a day or two the yeast starts fermenting the sugars and creates co2. Mosquitos are attracted to the co2 and fly into the bottle and die. One bottle can kill hundreds of Mosquitos in a few days.
