White stuff

Why is it on the 1st snowfall it seems like no one has ever driven on the sh*t in their life???

It can't be that probably 1/2 the drivers on the road haven't?

It only takes one arse to shut down the whole roadway, going 10mph (no one in front of them for at least 1/4 mi) in the high speed lane they should be shot.

I think it's because after they all buy extra milk and bread, they have no more money to spend at the Clue Store.

It's fun driving those roads, intersections are 1 mi apart and no stop lights. You're right no traffic, however...

got to watch out for the stray steer or hog on the road.

I forgot how slippery it gets and almost wiped out my car today. Nobody was around and I must admit, had a huge smile on my face while it was happening!

They were plowing the cvs parking lot this morning with a snow scoop on a 980. We got less than 3/8 of an inch closer to 1/4". The guy was packing down the parking lot. Made it a friggin skating rink.

Last night stuck behind someone doing 20!!! Talk about road rage. If you can't drive in snow, stay home or move somewhere else.

The way the state handles snow storms is like hunting squirrels with a bazooka.....way overkill!!!

Exactly how many plows do you need to "plow" 1/4 inch of snow?
Apparently we needed every piece of equipment the state has.

I suppose if it weren't for the idiots with boloney-skin tires and zero intelligence, the roads would have been moving as if it were a clear dry winter day.

Maybe if they didn't plow as much, and let the snow pack down, and people took pride in KNOWING how to drive in these conditions then the state and the cities and towns wouldn't pi$$ away their snow removal budget in a couple days worth of flippin flurries!!!

Nothing but a bunch of winter wussies afraid of anything that falls from the sky!

They hit the roads pretty good overnight, from what I saw on the drive in this morning. We have private roads and use a contractor in my neighborhood, but once I got to the town roads, they were down to bare pavement, side to side.

495 between Wareham and the bridge wasn't too bad last night, but I dropped it into 4wd on the off ramp into the rotary. I turned into the secondary road to my development in a nice controlled skid at about 15 mph, even with 4wd. It was pretty slick.

We had 10-12" total accumulation, just north of the Canal in Bournedale.

Took me close to 3 hours to get home from Boston the last storm. I'm leaving my truck parked here and staying home tomorrow.

Won't be anything to do at work anyways if we get the 1 to 2 feet they are predicting.

The snowthrower is gassed up and ready to go in the garage. Maybe it will go around us.....

yeah I was hoping...

Just checked my company phone, the boss called at 10AM and said no work tomorrow.. Atleast I'll have plenty of time to clear the driveway. Then off to my dad's to clear his.

Starting to look like the Ariens will get a good workout tomorrow.

Just finished removing "winter wonderland " from my walk and driveway. I'm so glad that I sprang for a machine. I'm also bushed..man I'm getting old...

Wish I had a snow blower,,, shoveling makes me feel old. I shoveled my drive last night finished around 11pm,,, was up at 5am to do it again, but it hadn't accumulated too much and looked passable so I didn't bother shoveling it again. At work by 7... the office is a ghost town...

Just went to the shop to shovel out. Hasn't even been plowed WTF

main roads are wet, side roads are crummy. Why do these towns even bother to hire 1 ton plows. They're a complete and utter waste of time.
