My 1st Batch

These 3 are from a batch of blanks I got from NJT. Ready for clear coat then epoxy. Hopefully finish them in time for the herring run. Not too bad once I was able to remedy the bubbling/cracking paint (thanks everyone).

These next three are all my own. Trying to go for the "Spook" look. All painted and ready for clear coat. Obviously a work in progress......

Very nice!

Your gonna like the way those NJT plugs swim. I included one in an order of supplies around Christmas just to try. Liked it so much I did more myself.
Those spooks look spookalishous. Did you weight them anywhere?

I put a small shot of lead in the behinds on the spooks since they taper from head to tail. Need to check exact weight. My goal is to have them sit at a 25-30 degree angle in the water, head up. Also still trying to determine best size hooks? Two trebles? Or one beliy treble and tale siwash? Big spook is about 7.25" long and small is just over 6" long.

Look good to me See how those spooks work. You might want to taper the tail end a little more if you do not get the action you are after. May be start the taper about a 1/3 the way back. How are they weighed? I like them to sit slightly tail down at may be a 10 degree angle. If they work like you want them too if not, those are some ideas to try out.
