There is a PBS documentary about Roy on youtube (posted as three 1/2 hour parts), great clip starting with an intro at 0:50 and Roy starting at 1:29 of part one

I love Frank's playing but I always get the feeling that he is syaing to himself "these dummies love stupid guitar wank so I'll give it to them". If you've read his stuff, he is very critical of guitar soloing and thinks its self indulgent. Did he like his playing or is it just a means to prove himself right? Anyone read his autobio?

Duane is the definition of pretty fantastic.

Clapton has referred to this as the best solo of all time, Duane at 2:53

Drums from 4:20 to the end are insane ,, I know from his instructional video's Rod's a counter and goes for the odd hits in between beats . This is just ridiculous ..

Any Michael Schenker solo on the song "Lost Horizons"

But by far my favorite of his is on "Save Yourself"

Jake E. Lee's solo on "Rumblin' Train" when he was with Badlands

Uli Jon Roth's solo on "Sails of Charon"
