Wrong education cost money, our money , they should not be in our high schools unless they are here legally. What the hell is wrong with people, there are towns trying to get 2 1/2 over rides to save jobs. Most of those jobs are teachers, firefighters, and police, but we have the money to throw away by educating non citizens in our public school systems. The Dems don't get it, and if they keep it up this will be a republican state again..

The reality is they are here, and now the bathwater has some valuable babies in it. I think a young person who grew up here and whose only national identity is that of an American, who now wants to serve in the military or excelled academically, should be extended special consideration.

I think it's an excellent opportunity to thin the herd. Think about it, when a 9 year old illegal girl shows up for school, do you think she's going to put up much of a fight without her parents?

These kids should be out of the country, or at least out on the streets so they don't bother my son at school.

How about a citizenship exchange? We'll keep the illegals who look like they will be promising tax-paying citizens one day, and we exchange their citizenship for that of some native born young person who is a drain on the system.

What about kids who speak Pashtun, Arabic, and Farsi dialects, who have been accepted to UMASS and want to pursue Middle-Eastern studies? Chuck them too?

If they have the appropriate papers to visit this country: keep'um, if not CHUCK 'UM.

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

Is the NSA paying their way? How many years of service are required after graduation?

Extending tuition rates at the state level instead of the out-of-state tuition level is not a free ride. Colleges make money on in-state students - just not as much as out-of-state students.

You will be shocked to know that I agree with you on this Joe, not that it matters, your smarter then me too....

and by the way, thanks for pointing out how stupid and useless Obamas 20yr tuition idea was. You helped make my point. Another worthless program that would cost billions and accomplish nothing.

The Obama Way.

My plan is simple:

We need more doctors and math/science/engineering folks to fix this national funk we are in.

Allow college tuition for those that enroll in those fields to be fully tax deductible regardless of income level.

"Undocumented Americans" LOL! If they are undocumented how come we know exactly how many there are?!!
This is a simple problem and should not cost anyone anything. Simply enforce the laws we have now on employers hiring these guys plus...take away education and health care benie's. Further if you want them out faster, simply offer a reward of 50% of their unpaid taxes (that will come out of what the employer should have withheld and paid)...these guys will be flushed out in a week.

I work in an office on Annandale, VA, all along the road outside the building illegals with different skills, painter, plasterer, carpenter, landscaper congregate and people just stop and give them day work
Must be several hundred in this 3 mi stretch alone. I am sure they all have families or relatives in the area.

This happens in lots of areas throughout the country. In California, you can find them hanging out on the corner near Home Depots waiting for day work. Paid cash and no paper trail.

Conservatism is not about leaving people behind. Conservatism is about empowering people to catch up, to give them tools at their disposal that make it possible for them to access all the hope, all the promise, all the opportunity that America offers. - Marco Rubio

They probably do. They come here for work, know that working one day in America will make them more money than a full week of working in Mexico.

If people completely stopped employing them, they'd have no choice but to go back. They'd tell their family and friends and those people would stop coming here too.

The law is the law. They are here illegally and should get a swift kick in the ass on their way home. Legal exceptions are already made for politicians and celebrities - now we're going to make them for the illegal dregs of society?

The US-Mexico border should be fortified similar to the North/South Korean border. Landmines and open "shoot to kill" orders for anyone found in a restricted zone. Do it in the name of national security.

We are not separating anyone from their family members, we are sending them all back to join their family in whatever country they came from...

The economy won't collapse, but we'll have to wait a helluva long time for our meals to come out at Chili's, TGI Fridays and Texas Roadhouse.

The CrabTrap in Somers Point NJ, has a deal that they bring in Romanian help and put them up. Nothin like a young Romanian accent to spice up your meal.

Used to happen on the Vineyard and in the Catskills all the time.

Let them come, but let them come legally.

Just make illegal immigration a state crime as well as federal, and empower local police forces to arrest them.
There was an illegal Guatemalan at the Texas Roadhouse down the street from me who got canned a couple years ago. Pissed off - he walked out, went down to the Stop & Shop kidnapped and raped some suburban Mom. When they asked the local cops about it, they said they had no power to enforce immigration laws. The place is still loaded with illegal Guatemalans.

Don't give your credit card to a Eastern European waitresses. They copy your credit card numbers and email them back the same night, by the next morning you've got a bunch of unauthorized charges. Found that out the last time I went to eat on Block Island.
