Paint for eel skin plug

Looking for advise or a formula for paint an eel skin plug. I use createx and would greatly appreciate any input. Thanks Charlie

Paint it baby blue then overspray lightly with silver.

Numskull thanks. Painting some Conrad's want to get the skin deep. But I agree with you the old school spin atom (bob pond foam construction is the best skin plug ever). thanks for your help Charlie

Createx opaque sky blue is a good choice for a traditional eelskin colored plug.

I’ve used skins over most colors imaginable and I don’t really think it matters much to the fish. You can get some cool effects seeing a green or yellow tint coming through the skin depending on what is underneath it.
