What are some and where are they now?

what happened to Olivia Newton John? not that it was about the muzik or anything

what else?

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

Pretty much most of the bands from the mid to late 80's were one hit wonders. Off the top of my head I can remember:

Survivor
Men at Work
Tone Loc
The Bangles
Dexy's Midnight Runners
Quiet Riot
Bananarama
Men Without Hats

Conservatism is not about leaving people behind. Conservatism is about empowering people to catch up, to give them tools at their disposal that make it possible for them to access all the hope, all the promise, all the opportunity that America offers. - Marco Rubio

This was the ultimate hookup song of the 80's, all you had to do was grab the closest girl and start dancing with her....

okay, maybe two, or three hits.....then retire on residuals from songs he wrote

they faded away I guess

how about Alanis Morrisette while we're at it?

I am convinced there are countless one hit wonders

THE classic one-hit wonder, from the 70s--Norman Greenbaum and "Spirit in the Sky"

There was also The Looking Glass with "Venus", and whoever it was that did "Brandy (You're a Fine Girl)".

Lee Michaels- "Do Ya Know What I Mean?" Saw him with play it with just a drummer and a Hammond in the early 70's at the Loew's State Theater in Prov. Still hear it almost every day on Cool 102

Catch'em up,

How about Matthew Wilder? Can anyone name the hit song he had in the late 80's?

I've got my 20th HS reunion tomorrow night and they're supposed to be playing music that was popular while we were in HS. I should have a bunch of good one hit wonders on Saturday if I can remember anything.
