Another edit !
Here is the poop.
You can no longer book mark other people on e-bay ,example, "vineyardblues" to see what he is bidding on.
Also if an item hit's the 200.00 mark, it with not show the bidding history names!

Sounds like E-bay is telling us that snipes and shills are part of the playing field. I don't know what to make of that yet.

He that would make his own liberty secure, must guard even his enemy from oppression; for if he violates this duty, he establishes a precedent that will reach to himself.

Peter, I was reading somewhere that eBay listings were "down" by over five million this year; their stock is slipping. I'm sure you can tell the listings have been off; being you have been on there for years.

I know many antique dealers who do not use eBay anymore "unless" they have a really good piece that they can't sell privately. I believe; eBay tried to combat this by offering "stores" for a flat thirty dollar a month listing fee???? The fees are just to high anymore to be listing cheap items. ~~~~~~~ SELLERS ARE USING SHIPPING FEES TO OFFSET EBAY CHARGES ~~~~~~~

I think hiding what people are bidding on will hurt them big time; how many things have you found by searching out bidders????? hahahahaha ...... probably as many as you found on your own.
~~~~~~~ SHILL BIDDING WILL BE WIDESPREAD ~~~~~~~
[ you will not know ]
Ebay was such a great idea when it first started..... Now it has become a "Wall Street" giant not caring about anything but stockholders......
Just read what eBay had to say; about doing this..............they want to cut down on spam mail........ hahahahaha........ I guess they do not care about the guy who spends less than two hundred dollars.
They want to cut down on second chance offers........I have only received one second chance offer in the last seven years......... the item was listed in the United States and the person sending me the offer was from the United Kingdom....... sure must be a bunch of dumb @** rich people on ebay!!!!!!!!! guess you have to be poor and street smart to function on eBay............
According to them; they have software to track shill bidding!!!!!!!!! have you ever seen anyone thrown off for shill bidding???????? If you complain they do nothing as it is..........that guy in Fla. "sling n eel" or whatever his name is; should be hung by the _alls....... as many of the others should..........
I will say they throw off non-paying bidders; I wonder why?????????
Sorry guys; I must have hit the floor on the wifes side of the bed this morning..........................
What is a shill Bid???????
I use a sniping program and find absolutely no wrong in doing that. It saves lots of time not have to sit in front of a computer. You determine how much you are willing to spend and set it and forget it, if you get outbid oh well.
Ebay I think is still a good place to find a deal. I have never sold so I don't know how much the charges are for selling.
shill bidding is having your friends bump up the price, hoping you'll follow suit with a higher bid..making them more money and if a friend bids and wins...they don't pay..gets relisted.
The shape of that plug doesn't look like the other jointed plugs made by Danny.
