Bela Fleck / Vic Wooten

Funny, I was ripping my last box of CD's and found my copy of Tales from the Acoustic Planet with the ticket autographed by all the band members. I remember talking with Victor Wooten for a good 20 min after that show.

Ticket cost: $12

This ain't the Tones but the guy still never ceases to amaze me. After the show I ran out and bought a bass.

That's one of the best Vic jams I've ever heard. That gave me goosebumps... woo!

I've seen Bela probably 7 times and I've seen Vic's solo band twice. The guy is from another planet...

Another planet where that hairstyle is still very much alive

(and so are these pants!)
This is the lineup of his solo band I saw.. great time

One of my favorite Vic basslines...

LISTEN TO THAT! HOLY!

Only they can make a 4:30 spot on late night TV feel like a complete performance

Another one worth seeing... Vic throwing down some super-precise tapping here... damn!
