A Big 40

No not a fish, I wish! Got a bag load of old stuff from ChefChris and there was a wooden A40 in it, was bored yesterday so had to do something different with it. 9.25" and looks like it will be 6 oz. rigged w/ 4/0's. Thanks to Gary S. for the troller lip that I reshaped. Think I will steal on of BF Larry's paint schemes for it!

looks nice Lou, theres some nice stuff in that bag, wish i had the room to turn stuff, use what you can and ill grab the originals back in the spring.

cant wait to see the jointed masterlure

I did rebuild the captain bill i showed you, new swivels, tail weight, thru wire and hooks, tuned it to swim on top, swims like a surfster, but cast way better.

Really nice, you might have to start making your own lips to get something big enough!

Gary (GRS) gave me some troller lips and I just had to reshape it and bend a little. Size was perfect!

Finally got to swim it today, Makes a nice splash! and swims just as good as my regular size A40's but will go a little deeper. Stout rod to throw this one.
