AYC / Lead - Local Source???

Hi everyone,

I need to replenish the stock pile. Does anyone know where I could go and get some AYC. In stock, I'd like to pick it up this week if possible.

Also need some more lead, have to make another batch of jigs.

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks,
Rich

For the lead, check your local plumbing supply place. They should have 5# lead ingots (also refered to as lead chalking). This will be the soft lead, good stuff for jigs.

Can't help with the wood ,but you can ask your local gas station for tire weights..It's the same weight only harder , because of Antimony in it..Sometimes it makes pouring more difficult because you're pulling pins out of the blanks etc.. Its perfect for pouring lure blanks as Kroks,Mikis, kastmasters as they won't bend & keep their shape...Jim

go to a B&T and buy leads sinkers if you are desperate enough. Or while your there you could buy jigs.

Liberty cedar will have balluster stock. 2x2x3.
