can you buy a boat slip?

Do you guys know if there are boat slips that you can buy? Maybe in South County? Is it worth it? The in laws have a house down there and I would like to have unlimited acess to my boat.

You can rent them, but very hard to come by. Like everything else in RI.........you gotta know somebody

Some places have "condo" slips, but I don't know of any in south county. If you really want to own a slip you have to buy the land under or next to water and build a dock on it.
