Looking for castnet

Looking for casting net 8ft being the largest not that new ones are expensive just looking. For a good deal seeing it won't be used a whole lot

If using it for pogies get one specifically for them, nice heavy weights

Thats i'll i will use it for in conjunction with the 100ft Gil net

Gil net for collecting pogies for Chum and a supply of frozen PS how did the chipper work for Chum? the day you picked it up pulled it up on youtube the proceeded to call my self a dumb Ass for not see that benefit LOL

casting when its just me for live bait if their around

I couldn't imagine a more appropriate response to his post. I would use slotted spoons myself. Castanets are a bit overpriced for what they do. Slotted spoons work fine, are easier to use than castanets once you get used to them, and most of us have a few lying around the kitchen.

for bunker you want a big mesh size- 1" mesh at least (I think theres even bigger...) coupled with as much weight on the perimeter to sink fast- usually 1 1/4 (or more) pounds per foot of lead line.

Betts makes a mullet net that's about $100 that works fine- theres others from Ahi that are OK for about the same price, but I still prefer the Betts net..... I throw the net pretty often during the summer.

takes a little practice but once you get the hang of it-
