Lathe advice

Hey guys, I'm looking for some help on a new (to me) lathe for plug building. I'm replacing an old craftsman workhorse and basically wanting something smaller. I found a Jet 1015VS on CL for $425. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. (I have other Jet machines so I'm familair with their quality.)-Steve

It seems a lot of guys use lathes like that and I'm sure it would be fine for turning plugs. make sure it works

I don't know why those seem to be so expensive, prices have gone up in the past 10-15 years for sure.

I have a Jet free standing 36" model that works well for me, easy to thru drill with also. I bought it a long time ago

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

I've put a few 1000 bodies through 1. The variable speed makes adjustment real easy.
