Gibbs Jointed Swimmers

Just found these in a bin....It's funny how quickly we forget about things we put in bins.

Jimmy Griecci made those. I got a Beachmaster jointed Danny along with the x-rays from Numbskull about 15 years ago and gave it to Jimmy to try and duplicate. Those were the result.

Numbskull actually has the first one Gibbs made. It was given to me and I gave to George as a thank you from Gibbs for letting them borrow his plug and the x-ray. The first ones had rounded end at the joint not square cut.

They never did really catch on as they cast lack a sack but thet were and are good casting from a boat along the Elizabeth Island shore.

Go to the Some Plugs sticky thread to see some custom colors on those from my collection.

Why even try.........
