HOW thick is your ice!

Today was my first trip of the season out on the ice. Cut a bunch of holes and jigged them for about a hour, caught a few nice perch then i got cold. I am fishing a local pond in Sandwich and it measures 4.5 on the tape measure a little thinner on the edges but all clear black ice

Yep....most of your Ice/Weight charts are based on Clear/Black ice. The white ice has airbubbles/pockets that weakens the ice. Not saying you can't walk on it....just weaker than black.

You can drive on 7" of Black Ice

How deep is the pond you guys fished in Easton on Sunday? It's much closer than where I went and from the looks of Niko's pics, there are some decent fish in there.

Trask would probably try to auger me in the head, lol. There was a small crowd of guys out there this morning when I went to work. Is Winny a bass, perch and pickerel pond?

Yes.
Although the state F&G pond map section states thatere are pike, I haven't heard of anyone catching any.

It also has crappies.
