R.I.P. Amy Winehouse

Not surprising but still tragically sad nonetheless.

Never really liked her. Thought she was kinda skanky.

She could sing when she wanted to.

I know we haven't Paul, been very well, thanks for asking. Hope we can catch up and fish this fall and you are doing fine as well. I've had no drive to fish, but having a blast riding the motorcycle and climbing mountains, did 4 4000 footers this past month in the Whites.

I really don't care because when she continuously chose drugs and alcohol over friends and family, she sealer her fate.
Her passing is NOT a tragedy, travesty or great loss, but rather a shameful waste of potential talent.

This will be just another TMZ headline of "Who brought her the drugs that killed her?"

I am so sick and tired of hearing these stories of talented and potentially star-caliber "artists" that piss their lives away on artificial highs, and we are supposed to care about them as if they gave their life saving a baby from a burning building?

Let's face facts: She must have hated her life and herself, chose NOT to seek appropriate help, and pissed it all away for some idiotic mind-numbing high and she died, end of sad story!

Oh, and before someone starts the "She went to rehab" crap, Yeah she did go to rehab, but ONLY to clean up enough to start all over again.
Maybe she can save a place in the afterlife for Lohan, as she seems to be stepping into the batters box!

RIP... drug addiction is a monster that some people can't fight and win on their own. It's a shame such a talent couldn't control her own demons. I'm just glad she didn't have any kids.
