I have an SW1088 (full 9') wrapped at CMS conventional, but even that model became 8'10" toward the end because of shipping cost The SUR replaced the SW/SU line of one piece I think. Anyway, let me know what conventionals or... you are looking for and maybe we can make this happen.

I'm not a 100% on the model #'s bc when I bought it at the RISAA show it just had a tag on it, and for some reason I didn't keep the tag to say whether it was a SW or SU. But it I do know its a full 9' measured it at lunch time for ya.

Maybe I should have posted earlier but I’ve been PM’ing back and forth with FishnGrega about the rod for awhile. Didn’t want anyone thinking I was jumping a “dibs”

I'm not a believer in the whole dibs thing, but I think that I'm first here to ask to work out a deal... if not, I'm out.

I missed this post altogether... cash and a some plugs works. I can bring what you are looking for with me when we meet and work out the cash part at that time. PM me and we can talk on the phone or I can email you photos of plugs as needed.

Look up!!! I just posted photos of the Avet above.. It wasn't used much. Very clean. Drilled and tapped with mechanism for "knobby mag" installed. I have two of them set up this way. Just don't need both. Don't need another rod either, but I think I have that same blank wrapped conventional and it's nice to have a set. Anyway... if you want to proceed lets pm phone numbers and figure it out. I live in the west bay and can drive to Newport. Maybe meet at the diner at the rotary by the Navy Base.

FYI, I also have a NIB, never spooled Penn Battle 6000... ?

It's the first version of the Avet SX single speed. The later versions were 5.3:1 gear ration. Capacity and basic body the same.

It's the smallest size Avet makes. It takes 220 yards of 20lb mono. Probably about the same as a Penn Squidder 146 or a Newell P220. Not sure why that would be too big? Well pm me and we'll arrange to meet and I'll bring cash and whatever you want to look at.

I'll be away from the Mac until later. PM will be checked then.
