Buckeye Brook Volunteers Needed to Count Herring PDF Print E-mail
Written by John Redmond

Members and Friends of the Buckeye Brook Coalition:

We need volunteers for the 5th annual Direct Fish Count which runs from April 1 to mid-May.

There will be a short (because it is easy!) training session for any new people (or for old timers if you want a refresher).  Come for a few minutes any time within the following time periods.

When:  Thursday, March 22 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

            Or Saturday, March 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

(Show up any time within those time periods.  The training only takes a few minutes).

Where:  The intersection of Buckeye Brook and Warwick Ave.   You can park in the Knights of Columbus parking lot at the corner of Sandy Lane and Warwick Ave.

To volunteer, contact Phil Edwards of RIDEM ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ).

If you have any questions, you can ask Phil or email me…or simply show up at one of the training sessions.  It’s easy and it’s fun!
