Helping out a friend at Christmas...

Several of us from S-B want to help our friend this Christmas and we are putting together a little raffle for him. Please see the thread for more details and prizes, and see what Bruce a/k/a Slipknot wrote below. Thanks! John

We need some help if you can, a member can use a lift

I'll try to be brief. In the spirit of Christmas season, someone close to us all can use some support. It seems bassmaster/ Dave Manzi is having a rough go of it this past month and missed work most of the month and could use some help with Christmas money for the kids as he's had some health troubles. Any donations any of you can help out with would be most appreciated. I know we seem to have lots of fundraising raffles but we should do a quick one for Dave. If anyone cares to donate items to the raffle, please post here or PM me. JohnR can handle the money part for the tickets thru paypal on the site at the bottom of the page where it says S-B donate, I guess a check would work also as long as you get it to John within a week as time is flying and we'd like to help Dave out before Christmas. The sooner we get this going the better. We'll try to keep it simple.

I'll keep track of the donated items and collect them and disperse them to the winners. Once we get a list, I can post them all on another thread and begin selling tickets at maybe $10 per ticket and maybe 3 for $20 if that sounds good.
