Steve K 09-20-2004, 05:59 PM Supposedly you need a permit for Crescent Beach and for Sandy Point. Never had a problem at Sandy Point without one. You have to walk/hike to the best spots. Nebe 09-20-2004, 06:10 PM Toby you have the RI sand permit so its o.k.... I'm gonna send you a p.m. TBone 09-20-2004, 09:28 PM Tob...I would have to highly recommend NOT diving ON the beaches...I prefer to dive IN the water for two reasons...1. it saves me a lot of headaches and B. Sand doesn't taste so good. Joe 09-20-2004, 10:04 PM Wrong side of the island anyway.... You must go where only feet can go..... fishweewee 09-21-2004, 07:04 AM Toby, there's a lot more exciting water to cover on foot. There's only so much you can drive on there. tlapinski 09-21-2004, 07:09 AM yeah, that was supposed to be dRiving, not diving.... :smash: i just figured i would see what the driving situation is out there. i had heard the CRMC pass covered things.
