Diving on BI beaches?
heading out to BI next week. i'm taking my truck out there. what is the deal on driving the beaches on the island?

Supposedly you need a permit for Crescent Beach and for Sandy Point. Never had a problem at Sandy Point without one. You have to walk/hike to the best spots.

Tob...I would have to highly recommend NOT diving ON the beaches...I prefer to dive IN the water for two reasons...1. it saves me a lot of headaches and B. Sand doesn't taste so good.

Toby, there's a lot more exciting water to cover on foot. There's only so much you can drive on there.

yeah, that was supposed to be dRiving, not diving....
i just figured i would see what the driving situation is out there. i had heard the CRMC pass covered things.
