Thats what happens when you don't protect your fishing spot.
A boat don't help that much either! I know guy's that use binoculars from shore.

Yeah, but you don't see me. I'd be the guy 100' to the right, out of the picture, drinking a beer and :rotf2: :rotfl:

Betcha the average fish these guys were hooking was 26", too :hihi:

That is a nightmare.......I'd quit striper fishing before I'd fish like that. I'd become a panfish finatic....I can see it now...www.sun-fish.com.....no lines to catch them i bet.:laughs:

if you saw the traffic those guys had to go thru to get there, you would know why standing elbow to elbow doen't phase them.

While I can't say where B.I. Jeff fishes in Iowa, rest assured, there is no traffic...

I recognize that spot. It is actually looking down the south side of Montauk. That's why I don't fish Montauk anymore.

All easy access gets you is big crowds and guys with bad attitudes. Yeah there are a lot of fish...but is it really worth fishing like that? Honestly?

Would you leave you aquaskinz bag loaded with custom plugs on a beach with a crowd like that at night? (or even during the day). It sucks when you go down to relax for a few hours to throw some plugs and you get ripped off or your vehicle gets busted into or just having to worry about getting ripped off....

IMO Montauk is better fished from a boat anyway, the surf scene is overrun with guys....1/2 of which are guys from NJ and Nassau county that make the drive to stand 2' next to you....Many of whom are decent guys but it aint fun, even when big fish move in tight to the beach. ...and you throught the breachway was bad on a Friday night?
