View Full Version : Patrick....Got Stripers....
Patrick......since I know you are reading......
first of all we have all in the past tried to be nice and helpful....whether it was personal or fishing (you always managed to take it as "bashing" no matter how we put it....)
and secondly....these emails you seem to be sending are just plain old UNCALLED FOR!!! I could maybe see you upset if you were kicked off one board....but you have been kicked off how many now???? when will you realize that you ARE at fault!!??????
at last but not least..... this winter I had the honor of fishing with and meeting GS in person. He is an able fisherman, a fun person with a good sense of humor, and very hospitable!!!!!! I was surprised that he took the time (and patience:p ) to teach me a few things!!!!
I have since met him a few more times since then. I have yet to see someone who didnt like him. If you think that we wont stand behind him or that we will change our minds about him because of what YOU say.......think again!!!!!!
I realize I have probably put myself in you email club now.....I just hope you are mature enough not too.

11/1/01 4:38:00 AM Submitted by Patrick (24.45.195.26) from CONNECTICUT says Hey Flounder, email me.
We'll set up a meeting. JCX, you can come too. You guys want to fish the marina or do you want to fish Penfield Reef or will there be no fishing and just a friendly chat?
Email me guys and we'll set something up. It will be fun. We can hug and stuff but nothing else. Me and Frenchy are getting married. Bassmaster is the bridesmaid. I got him a needlefish dress.
JCX, you can be a bridesmaid too. You already have the hat, so I'll just get you a pair of kahkis and a red shirt to complete the gilligan effect you've got going. HA HA.
Gadwall8 11-01-2001, 06:20 PM Interesting fortune cookie I got the other nite:
"he who messes with the "Bubba of Rubba" wakes up in dumpster"
silly people can't even spell Budda
Mike P 11-01-2001, 06:47 PM Hey Bubba---you wanna check out that board? Here's the link:

That's the place where most of us old-timers---including #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&---had a lot of fun times. Nowadays, they get 3 posts a day until the old gang gets together to have some blood-letting. Which brings out a buncha redneck crying about how we're "cluttering" a board that now, on a good day, gets 3 new topics.
Tell ya the truth, you could liven up the joint. Right now it's like watching an old friend from high school die a slow death. Some fresh blood over there, and some good natured fun and games, maybe us old vets of the slugfests there will fire up our old flamethrowers ;)
Got Stripers 11-01-2001, 06:58 PM I appreciate the kind words Jenn. Had some fun at the Thames today 35 bass and 4 blues, but then it got a little funny or should I say weird. You know the trolling motor I have has a long shaft, something Patrick wouldn't understand :). Well it got locked in the down position and the release wasn't working. I tried everthing and finally just accepted the fact the only way to get up and down the river was to raise the trolling motor with the height adjustmant collars. Well you can imagine the looks, with my motor up tucked close to the bow eye and the head/electrical end about 110 inches above that in mid air...LOL. Had to trailer home with the motor lowered and lashed to my trailer, so it didn't suddenly come loose and kiss the asphalt.
Patrick as for your repeated emails, which I assume is some sort of attempt to get a response or a rise out of me, trust me your wasting your time. I couldn't give a rat's *ss how you feel about me, this board, that board or anything else for that matter. You have shown me and countless others (your record preceeds and follows you), that lab mice have more maturity and I certainly have no intension of debating the meaning of life with a lab rat. Grow up and maybe someday you will drop the BS and life will be good.
Jenn, look forward to fishing with you again.
