Iwannakeeper 06-30-2005, 08:20 AM that is a really great picture mike. Was that the thresher I was so lucky to get a couple of steak out of? -IWK thefishingfreak 06-30-2005, 11:08 AM thats a mako. good eatin size, about 130 pounds. toss the steaks right on the bbq with a little lemon and pepper and it's awesome, even the wife who hates fish thinks it's good. just like swordfish. if you've ever seen brielle' swordfish on a menu? it's shark meat. let the steaks sit in the fridge for a day after you clean the fish to relax the meat or else it will swell up something awefull when you cook it. The Iceman 6 06-30-2005, 02:35 PM Love the taste of Mako, how many other species of sharks can a human eat? Isn't there only like 2-3 total? Thanks, Ice MakoMike 06-30-2005, 04:23 PM Ice, All sharks are edible, its just that most of them taste like crap!
