I always considered someone telling me "Good Luck" a jinx

what do you guys consider a Jinx

Me, running my mouth about how hot it was yesterday.

My Brother is a jinx!!!
He is the weather jinx!!!
No matter when I plan on going fishing
with him, it will be bad weather!!!
Be it at P.I., R.I., Baltimore or Florida!!!
Ha!!! What a JINX!!! (Ha!!Ha!!)

Last time someone snuck bananas on one of our charter boats all sorts of electronics started going overboard within a day. 1 cell phone and then 2 brand new $500 digital cameras.

for me its going back to a spot i slammed them the day before and expect to slam them agian... never happens.

Must be a Portsmouth thing.Everytime I tell someone I got into fish its a ghost town the next visit.

Swearing at the fish.

I've asked people not to swear at the fish around me. I say it kind of jokingingly, but I won't fish with someone who does it all the time. I try to not even think it.

Buying an insulated fish bag measuring 60"x20" ( 120# fish capacity) will guarantee you won't land a 40#er for more than a year.

that must have been what happened just before i hit the beach yesterday. someone, maybe the guy that was leaving just as i arrived, must have been swearing up a storm at them because they were totally non cooperative the rest of the night. they were so mad they had the water kicked up big time.... :hs:

Always makes me go out... then get skunked.

I actually have a lucky hat. Seems like I always do better when I wear it.

Actually the Black Cat thing.

on 3 seperate times as I was driving to a place to fish, a black cat ran accross the street in front of the car and all 3 times I got nada....except for a bunch of snags and lost gear.

I also know that If I forget my pliers I WILL catch bluefish...that happened twice this year.

I usually think the Black cat thing is good luck.
But the reason I posted this is ever sense before I left for Montauk I have been having some serious bad luck and not just catching fish like falling, loosing my bait to a rouge wave, losing a favorite plug which is bound to happen just happened 3 time to the same type/color. I must have pissed off the fish gods some how I just can't think of what I did. anyone else gone thru boughs of bad luck?
