Imagine doing a 33x 12.50 :err: tynan19 04-04-2006, 07:21 PM Man would hate to have to do that. I am sure their were contests to see who didn't have to pump. justplugit 04-04-2006, 07:40 PM :laughs: That guy prolly pumped up flats in those days 5 times a trip just to get to the beach. :D gone fishin 04-04-2006, 08:36 PM Hey Karl - I remember using a spark plug - hollowed and adapted to a hose to air up. It took the place of the bike pump. We could actually air up all four in about a hour from scratch. Scratch was 9 or 10 pounds, and we worried about spinning the tire and screwing up the tube. Always carried a spare tube along. I often wonder why some guys didn't blow up with the gas in the tubes. :gorez:  Will I see you on Saturday? tattoobob 04-04-2006, 09:09 PM Karl thats some oldtimie stuff, an air pump wow Raven 04-05-2006, 06:44 AM gasoline in the tires.....ooooo sounds like fun now a days we have fix a flat... but you have to read the dammed directions...still i once fixed a flat and then found myself racing this guy on the free way at around 75 miles a hour....which makes the fix a flat air heat up (your supposed to deflate it and re-air up afterwards) which i did not.. suddenly i exploded that tire.....with a huge kabooom and there was an 8 inch hole by 4 inches wide. :rotf2: justplugit 04-05-2006, 09:45 PM i once fixed a flat and then found myself racing this guy on the free way at around 75 miles a hour... I was younger then and I once picked up my brothers honda civic(both tires) clean off the ground(one end anyway). That was back when I framed houses after I quit college.
