How much is home insurance down there?
My folks have a place on the intercostal on the west coast of FLA, but they're selling now, because the ins. is about equal to their mortgage.

I would venture to guess insurance is pretty close to $2,300 annually including a flood policy. Property taxes are about $2,500.00 per year.
