:jester: Every silver lining has a cloud I guess, but I'd rather be 10 up than 10 down. I'd also rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labotomy................

Yup...gotta admit, even as a lifelong Yankee fan, this years Sox team seems to be well stacked and ready for a long haul. Get Beckett back in and there will be no stopping them!

Good game tonight! Hopefully, this will be the start to some upward momentum for the Yanks :hidin:

I actually do hope the yankees make it a race at some point.... Sure I like having our team on top of EVERYTHING. but it takes away something that says your a sox fan. Not as entertaining when you know the ending.

I want the Yankees 40 games out by July, Steinbrenner on Suicide Watch, Torre standing on a Street Corner with a Squeegee and a Bottle of Windex, Jeter and Giambi running off to Vermont Together, and Gay-Rod in the Starring role of the Off-Off-Broadway Production of "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert"

That would be just as entertaining in my opinion......

My sentiments exactly, you said it all!! Make a race of it my arse. The Sox can't beat them bad enough or often enough to suit me.:smash: :rocketem: :fishslap:

Yanks sux, anyone see that wicked cheap shop from A-Rod in the 8th going into 2nd base? He gave Dustin a forearm into the gut.

I refuse to overally excited either way about the Sox. I watch every game but this is a long haul. Talk to me in Sept. The Yanks will find a way to be there in the end. Let's hope we stay healthy and the bottom 1/2 of the order keeps hitting.

Coco's game saving diving catch compared to Johnny Damon sitting out a game(s) in the clubhouse with his legs elevated is a welcomed sight.

Go Red Sox!!

I hate to admit it but I'm not sure if I'm more excited about the Red Sox:musc: on a roll or the turmoil:hang: in NY. Shouldn't be like that :blush:but I got a hate that goes back a LONG WAY!!!! It's funny last year at the Boston Massacre when we were sending out pitchers that no one ever heard of (or haven't since), Yank-it :yak: fans said we were making excuses. I guess what goes around comes around. Anyway, enjoy the ride:cheers: :kewl:

Too much is never enough. 1 injury and things could change. I am enjoying it, but I have been a fan way too long to take anything for granted when it comes to the sox's. It has been fun but I am not saying anything, yet. Let sleeping dogs lie is my motto.
