I am looking to get a handheld gps for my buddy who just got a boat. He will be mainly putting around Boston harbor and the islands....Any ideas?

That being said, I've had a Magellen 315 since 2001 and it still works like a champ. niko 09-27-2007, 02:57 PM garmin makes some nice products. macojoe 09-27-2007, 06:26 PM I had a Garmin for years before I bought a mounted Garmin, They are great, I bought a power cable cause as stated they use a lot of batterys, but with ther power cable the batterys were just for back up.
