The feds have not set a price and until state legislation is passed and a price is determined any amount is nothing more than a guess.

The fed's have set a fee,if your state doesn't set up a registry on it's own by 2010 the fee would be $25-$50.

The story on 10 was a report on a piece of legislation introduced to the GA without any input from DEM or the Marine Recreational Fishing License/Registry Study Group.When originally introduced Rep.Malik was one of the sponsors,one down 2 to go. Stay tuned.:wave:

Salthheart is right. How are they going to enforce it? Its just another level of bureacracy that will be staff with some hacks kid. At least if its a fed. license we may not have to buy one in every state.

Nevermind,,, its a registry fee, but some states will probably institute licenses (to include the registry fee) but sounds like RI will not, they also list possibly fee exceptions, but even though the exceptions wont have to pay the fee, they will still need to register. So maybe it won't be too bad.
