Jane Goodall or whoever coined the phrase "gorillas in the mist" weren't thinking along these lines, but hey whatever it fits the bill.

SurfCaster413 08-11-2010, 06:22 PM Awesome picture ProfessorM 08-11-2010, 06:24 PM nice pic Frank. It was a little thicker early this morning out in the bay. Thank god for gps. At least the lighting held off way out to the east, unlike the early morning before which chased me off the water at 2 am in a driving rain and vivid lighting display, pretty scary. . How did you do this morning ? heard it was good. spence 08-11-2010, 06:29 PM Neat, the lights along the shore add a lot to the composition. -spence BigFish 08-11-2010, 06:47 PM I know that tall, good looking fellow in the photograph!! :uhuh: The Dad Fisherman 08-12-2010, 04:59 AM Thats my absolute favorite weather to fish in....I love the fog. BassDawg 08-14-2010, 06:21 AM EXCELLENT shot!! thanks for sharing that,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and i'm with Kevin~~ LOVE fishing in the fog!! Green Light 08-14-2010, 06:58 AM Very nice pic. StriperZ 08-14-2010, 06:42 PM The only thing about taking a great picture is being at the right place at the right time with the right eye and the right equipment, the right light, the right subject, and then remembering to push the shutter button. Other than that, it is easy, right? Great Pic! Raven 08-15-2010, 07:16 AM I too ............love the fog... especially when it drifts into the mountains in China those type of scenes ect... or being on the water when I first looked at your thumbnail tho~ , i thought it was a side of the mountain scene because you turned the camera 90 degrees. and because of how much shore line you framed in the shot.... as i like "desktop" nature shots... so i changed the perspective a bit ( Not to rob your thunder ) just to see how it would look.... http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/ravenob1/Gorrilla.jpg Slipknot 08-15-2010, 09:46 AM I think it's an excellant picture ProfessorM 08-15-2010, 06:52 PM a few sunrises from last week, sorry no tall, stubborn, wood thrower's to be seen. Van 08-16-2010, 08:46 AM One problem....... His fishing rod is not bent over....Hmmmmm..... Sea of Atlas 08-17-2010, 10:57 AM Great pic but it looks more like a Yeti. I think gorillas are vegeterians anyways. Raven 08-17-2010, 02:25 PM Yeti's live way up in the mountains....in snow country this is a cross between a Sasquatch and a Skunk Ape Sea of Atlas 08-17-2010, 02:51 PM Yes, that's what I meant, all wildmen the same. Although you'd think they have to be related, so this might have been one of the pesky tourist yetis visiting his skunk ape uncle on the shore. Raven 08-17-2010, 03:01 PM is the size of their feet :rotf2: Slingah 08-17-2010, 03:12 PM here is one of Andy (tysdad) Mike P 08-17-2010, 03:47 PM Foggy dawn at the Cribbin. tysdad115 08-17-2010, 05:42 PM Thanks Matt ,now the board has another stinky, charming creature on it.I'm certainly no Larry but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express in a former life.
