Monday i recieved a call from Don from Afterhours stating that he had just recieved some CTS poles for demo.Yesterday Don and Mike from AH and i went and tried them. There were 4 different models to try.I won't list them,if you want info on any CTS product contact Don.These have to be the best rods i've ever casted(in my oppinion). They are now available through Don.Alot of preperation to get this product up here for anyone to test has been done.Check them out, they are readily available now.I tried all 4 models and was really impressed to find each rod was superb in what it was designed for.

hi guys, first and foremost- i do not sell cts rods or blanks. i am a staff member and have a half dozen different surt rod models to let guys that are interested test cast. my goal is to have the ne guys have to opportunity to check out these great rods, again i have no financial interests. just wanted to clarify. ps- cts makes an unbelievable fly rod blank .

Fast Action , thin walled, high mod materials.
This combination is sometimes great for performance.
Sometimes not too durable.
Worth looking at though.

i've been fishing a few of them hard for 2 yrs and consider them very durable, have'nt fished all of the models yet but my se1201-2 is as tough as i've fished. i hear on high mod thin walled, but this coil technology makes the difference imo.

Hi Don, I'm looking for 10' 1-3 rod. I'm not too familiar with CTS. Do they offer anything in that range? Thanks

The way you cast you'd do better getting a drop line.

FWIW, a rod builder on LI, Neil Faulkner, has been building on these blanks for a couple of months now and has them in stock. He hangs out on Noreast.com and there is a thread in the inshore section devoted to these blanks.

Give the scup a chance for god's sake. We already have one guy here who likes to hunt squirrels with a bear rifle, lets not make it two.
