Raven 09-03-2003, 10:00 PM a friend and i were taking a break for lunch and he had a two pack of those pink creme filled round igloo shaped deserts....
i was totally disgusted watching him literally stuff his face with that 100% pure JUNK food --- to the point that i lost it ......
i grabbed the remaining one and ran up to the newly built home next to us (just plywooded) and smashed it with all my mite
onto the side of the house in one HUGE pink and white SPLAT!
it looked like a big old nasty zit and it was so funny that we were literally rolling in the dirt laughing like never before.:D

jugstah 09-04-2003, 08:40 AM A woman goes into Wal-Mart to buy a fishing pole but didn't know which one to get, so she just grabs one and goes over to the register.
There is a Wal-Mart associate standing there with dark shades on. She can tell you everything you need to know about it from the sound that it makes. She didn't believe him but dropped it on the counter anyway.
He said, "That's a 6' graphite rod with a Zebco 202 reel and 10 lb. test line. It's a good all around rod and reel, and it's $20.00."
She says, "It is amazing that you can tell all that just by the sound of it dropping on the counter. I think it's exactly what I'm looking for, so I'll take it."
As he walks behind the counter to the register, she bends down to get her purse out of the cart and accidentally farts. At first she is embarrassed but then realizes that there is no way he could tell it was her. Being blind, he wouldn't know that she was the only person around.
He rings up the sale and says, "That will be $25.50."
She says, "But didn't you say it was $20.00?"
He says, "Yes ma'am, the rod and reel is $20.00, the duck call is $3.00, and the catfish stink bait is $2.50. And, thank you for shopping at Wal-Mart."
:laughs: :laughs:
Rappin Mikey 09-04-2003, 09:38 AM Has anybody else heard the urban myth of the pantyhosed filled twinkies, or is that just a western MA thing?

Now I have a question
I was in the Navy in Norway, and I remember one old "Urban legend" from there called "Dead man in a can" in reference to the meat in the MRE's (The story was that someone found a wedding ring in a can of meat...) Anything like this legend here in the states?:smash:
Rappin Mikey 09-05-2003, 09:18 AM Well I heard about a guy who got some disease because he ate some pork fried rice that the cook.... let's say....well let's not say . Nasty.....Nils, how you know about Bondi's

JohnR 09-09-2003, 10:39 AM Hey guys, not trying to be a party pooper but please recheck your posts and clean up the last couple pages a little. This is still all publically viewable and while it's fine for adults, some kids see this stuf too...
Thanks,

Sweetieface 09-10-2003, 02:39 PM use the machine that build muscles, u know the one u saw on the commerical? i personally never use them.
Notaro, with testamony like that, its a wonder we all don't run out and buy that machine!!
You guys are crazy. The twinkie is one of the oldest junk foods! And NO, its not made of nylons. Just because the quality of the twinkie has declined a bit in the past 10 years does NOT mean that The Twinkie Kid has turned to cross dressing. Not all celebrities *ahem* Britney Spears *ahem* need to do outlandish things to save their careers....
3:51... is today ever going to end??!!

Jimbo 09-10-2003, 03:22 PM Actually, some people with a lot of spare time on their hands did a Twinkee Study and the results as I interpreted them determined there is no nylon in a Twinkee.

Rappin Mikey 09-11-2003, 09:39 AM One time I actually got paid 8$ an hour to get hammered and perform sobriety tests for the cadets at the Agawam police academy. I slammered down 12 beers in 2 1/2 hours, and then stumbled around in front of cops for about an hour trying to remember my ABC's needless to say I didn't fool anybody. Anyway, I'll never forget that day (well parts of it at least).
Sweetieface 09-12-2003, 07:54 AM 12 beers in 2.5hrs. I'd be in a morgue.

How is everyone?
Sweetieface 09-30-2003, 07:55 AM Jugstah,
What's similar rappin mikey treatment??
Rappin Mikey 09-30-2003, 09:32 AM He must be referring to the pictures I posted of my brother dressed up like crab smoking Jesus, and Mr. Sand-eel for a mustache man. Tell me you didn't miss that post.
Notaro 09-30-2003, 09:36 AM SF, I thought you left this forum for the guys asked your your toasty picture something like that. No fish? The fall run has begun... Remedy yourself
Sweetieface 09-30-2003, 10:01 AM RM, I missed that post. Can you attach the link?? lol.
Notaro, I've just been busy at work. Imagine, they actually want me to WORK while I'm here!! the nerve....
How long is this fall run good for? I will have to squeeze a trip in soon...
Rappin Mikey 09-30-2003, 10:04 AM Here ya go
Notaro 09-30-2003, 10:05 AM SF, it should last until the end of Nov or the beginning of it at North Shore. Macks should arrive soon in Oct. or Nov. So are smelts.
Rappin Mikey 09-30-2003, 10:05 AM Here is Mr. Sand-Eel Mustache Man
Sweetieface 09-30-2003, 10:06 AM Uhm...ok. I cant decide if its more sacreligous or frightening! YOUR POOR BROTHER!lolol
Rappin Mikey 09-30-2003, 10:07 AM Here's Mr. Sand-eel Mustache Man
Sweetieface 09-30-2003, 10:09 AM Uhm, are we dealing with a narcoleptic here, or is this from one nap that you guys did all this??
LOL by the way.
Rappin Mikey 09-30-2003, 10:19 AM Same day, two nappy times. Rick actually suffers from a sleeping disorder where he sleep walks to the fridge and eats. I can't remember the medical terminology, but I am totally serious. Poor little Ricky.
Sweetieface 09-30-2003, 10:21 AM Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray for something good to eat
If I should chow, before I wake
I pray the lord, my calories to take.
Its a good thing I don't have that disease. I'd look like Nel Carter.
Notaro 09-30-2003, 10:45 AM And I blame college for freshmen 15 boomers
Rappin Mikey 09-30-2003, 10:49 AM We used to call psychedelic mushrooms boomers in high school. In my school kids are into PCP again. They call it eemie or something. Can't people just stick to good old bud and buds?
Jimbo 09-30-2003, 11:13 AM RM, a most thought provoking last post! Could you give us a little sampling of the kind of counseling you're giving those kids???....."and today kids we're going to learn a new spelling word. It's 'phencyclidine'. Phencyclidine is our friend!...."
Notaro 09-30-2003, 11:21 AM why couldnt they just stick to cuban cigars instead of buds, RM?
or did u mean by beer? not weeds?
Rappin Mikey 09-30-2003, 11:23 AM Tell me, when you say "f- you" to the math teacher, are you really upset with the math teacher? Or are you carrying in negative feelings. Just because your 15, pregnant, and in trouble with your parents because you refuse to go out on the block and sell drugs and bring them the money, doesn't mean you should yell at the math teacher.
Sweetieface 09-30-2003, 11:45 AM I've got a funny story for you all:
You have to know my family, but I will do my best to relay the jokes.
We're a typical Italian family always yelling at eachother. If you've seen Saturday Night Fever, the beginning scene at the dinner table where everyone's fighting and John Travolta gets a head slap, then you've eaten at my house.
Anyway, my older brother and my mother were in a heated argument over something no one cares about. My brother was telling her about the ills of her generation, and how things today were so much different and better. My mother's response was to bring up how the world today was a disaster and the Baby Boomers were not to blame.
The discussion turned to drugs, and Bro rattles off all the hippies and drug addicts there were in the 60's and 70's, and blah blah about today's drugs and how they are different.
My mother is so angry at this point, face turning red, she says: My generation did all the same drugs, we had Cocaine, we had marijuana, we had Angel Hair, we had -
Suddenly my brother started laughing hysterically. "Angel Hair??"
Mother did not get it. Mother was not amused.
"You mean Angel DUST?!" he laughed.
It was the only time I ever saw a near fatal argument in my house turn into laughter.
Maybe in an Italian house, Angel Hair *is* considered a drug.....
Sweetieface 09-30-2003, 11:49 AM RM, are you a teacher? I'm guessing you were sworn at recently?
Hey, who hasnt been 15 and expecting and swearing at teachers? lol
Jimbo 09-30-2003, 12:43 PM My dad was a public school teacher for around 35 years with a few as assistant principal (whom anyone who's been in trouble knows he divvy's out the punishment) He was in the same district my brothers and I went to. He was as strict a disciplinarian as you could be in school and out. He hated it when a teacher would send a troublesome kid to the office just to sit out the class, so he'd think up unique punishments, like taking giving the kid a butter knife and sending him out on the soccer field and telling him not to come back until he had 1,000 dandelions cut in a paper bag or scraping gum off the bottoms of desks. I heard these stories at night quite often and the same names over and over. The first day of high school I thought I would probably get the crap beat out of me by these guys. Fortunately they actually really liked and respected him for the way he treated them instead of making them just sit there and those were the guys who always kept in touch with him in the long term.
Rappin Mikey 09-30-2003, 12:44 PM I am an adjustment counselor at an alternative school in Springfield. My student population consists of children who have been either adjudicated, expelled from other schools, or somehow affiliated with the social service agencies. I was just giving Jimbo a sample of one of my daily counseling sessions. Some of the stuff I deal with is really heart-breaking. I've lost three students in as many years (that I was very close to) to gun shot wounds. However, I have seen a multitude of kids turn there lives in a positive direction. Being an influential figure in this process is one of the most intrinsicly rewarding experiences one can imagine.
Sweetieface 09-30-2003, 01:00 PM Jimbo, YOUR DAD was the one who made me groom the stray dog with my toothbrush???
lol.
RM, sounds like you've got your work cut out for you. I give you a ton of credit.
Rappin Mikey 09-30-2003, 01:05 PM You don't even know the half of it!
Jimbo 09-30-2003, 01:11 PM How did you know, SF? One of his other punishments was to have the troublesome lads assist the custodians by giving them a toothbrush and a dixie cup of clorox and having them work on the grout between the tiles in the bathroom.
He was also good at sending out a message at home. For example, once when he was driving home he passed my older brother walking home having a smoke. He didn't stop to pick him up, but he was sure as heck waiting for him when he got there. Within the space of 30 minutes there was a very one-sided boxing match (with alot of screaming) in the basement followed by a crew cut the Bomba's would have been proud of. Any future thoughts I had about taking up smoking completely left my head.
Sweetieface 09-30-2003, 01:15 PM I like his style.

Jimbo 10-02-2003, 09:31 AM What are "macking skills with girls" ? Is that like Mack The Knife, which is why Raven's got the head of a shark in his fridge? Does this somehow tie back to Kevin Bacon?
I'm so out of touch with kids' expressions these days.
Are ghetto kids rappin this now???? (or is Rappin Mikey)
Oh, the shark, babe, has such teeth, dear
And it shows them pearly white
Just a jackknife has old MacHeath, babe
And he keeps it, ah, out of sight
Ya know when that shark bites with his teeth, babe
Scarlet billows start to spread
Fancy gloves, oh, wears old MacHeath, babe
So there’s never, never a trace of red
I'm lost!
how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop????
Iwannakeeper 10-02-2003, 12:14 PM Jenn,
I thought we were trying to keep this thread clean. There are children that read this.
Jimbo 10-02-2003, 12:44 PM Now! Now! let's not go overboard here, I mean let's just consider the recent news we've learned about The Asian Lady Killer (Notaro) that this thread's all about. Let's see, he may indeed be a pancreas-less pregnant she-male who dislike people from the ghetto, thinks all wome from Warwick are fat and ugly while all women from L.A. are beautiful just because they all work out and take care of themselves which no woman from Warwick ever does. Hmmm. No this doesn't sound to me like anything that would sway the thinking of an impressionable youth perusing this thread.
Notaro 10-02-2003, 01:06 PM I aint no lady killer, man.
jugstah 10-02-2003, 03:18 PM Good god, a bunch of degenerates we've become!!!

Jimbo 10-02-2003, 04:32 PM That was beautifully articulated, Rappin', but I can't exactly understand what you said. Is that perchance one of the Romance languages?
Sweetieface 10-03-2003, 04:06 PM Its like Italian, but its called Guitalian. Language of the Guido's.

Iwannakeeper 10-09-2003, 04:05 PM well....back from the near dead - aparently.
Hello all - still haven't caught a striper and I am going to miss the fall run this year.
I am only 30 yrs old and just stabilized after a triple bipass. I went to the hospital for stomach pain on September 5th. They found a problem with my EKG and bingo - surgery on Semptember 8th. and I still have my stomach problem. I haven't heald enough to have my gall bladder out.
So, as strange as this all sounds - I am jealous of Notaro and his sissy drinking, fainting problems.
Hold on tight - cause next year I plan to kick some stiper AZZ.
thanks all

jugstah 10-09-2003, 04:30 PM Well, IWK, I'm glad you're still amongst the living... and wow, such a young age to have such problems... I hope you're all good as new now and it aint over yet for the fall run.. you can make a trip or two! :-)
Iwannakeeper 10-09-2003, 04:32 PM Thanks Jugstah
But, after having my chest split - I can't lift anything more than a phone book.
I tried a cast - hurt like hell.....I am out for another month or so...so I am going to the cape in April/Many and I cannot wait.

jugstah 10-09-2003, 04:39 PM That's harsh... sounds like you'd have trouble even reeling a scupper in... well, you can always pass the time studying prior posts from other fishermen and find out what works/doesnt work.. :)
Iwannakeeper 10-09-2003, 04:49 PM Have been and continue to do so.....thanks for the encouragement.
Hope to see you all out there in the spring.

I haven't caught a keeper yet. Oh, I experimented the bucktail jig before, I realized that moderate twitching or pumping works in calm water like Poppy bay. I'm going to try it again next year. And I haven't caught a keeper this year. Next year, man.

Notaro 10-21-2003, 12:15 PM And I shook hand with a EPA agent last weekend. And his dogs kissed me. I plagued his house with a FED:D :laughs: :p

Iwannakeeper 12-24-2003, 03:27 PM In the good old days -I may have let this thread die a quiet death.
But the shear bordem of winter makes me think - hmmmmm....where else can this thread go!
For all of you who wished me well...I have finally returned to work. But all of my thoughts are to catching some fishes
hope everyone has a happy and safe holiday season.
Merry Christmas

Sweetieface 12-31-2003, 10:27 AM Hey, long time no post!
How is everyone??
IWK -- I know its late, but I'm sorry to hear of your heart issues!!! I'm glad to hear that you're better, though.
I'm even more sorry to hear of it so late -- I could finally have outfished SOMEONE on the board if I'd gotten to you sooner!! LOL!
Notaro, I'm sorry to hear you're prego, preggo, Ragu whatever. The thought of you multiplying asexually frightens me almost as much as having little notaros running around!!!
How was everyone's holiday?
I didnt' ask for, or get a single thing related to fishing..... could be because the last time I went I swore I would never go again..... :af:
Iwannakeeper 12-31-2003, 11:12 AM my knee is doing fine....never had a problem there. lol
My heart is in good condition, and I even think I could do some casting.
I still have my on-going stomach problem.....but enough about that.
who is going to take pitty on the sick guy and get him some fish this spring.
-IWK
Notaro 12-31-2003, 11:47 AM I thought you had a knee problem, IWAK. My bads. Well, take it easy, man.
SF, I need a wife to produce little notaro. I am not a hermaphodite creature (Tremor 2).;)
Sweetieface 01-05-2004, 01:41 PM boy, its a good thing I have evidence of this invitation.... will make my restraining order application so much easier to file... lol.
Glad to hear you're feeling better, IWK.
This week I'll be undertaking a colossal burden. I have 2 tangled reels. One is my cheapy, which I'll be dismantling as best I can.... if all goes well, I'll take on my better one. Otherwise, I wonder how helpful the boys over at Galyan's Sports will be, and whether I'll need to dig out some high heels for the trip there...... lol!!!
(ps - did anyone actually SEE tremors 2??)
chris L 01-05-2004, 04:06 PM you wont need the heels trust me .
they even have a series called tremors . one tremors was more than enough !

How do you rate the tremor series? I think that this TV show isn't too bad. They include some realistic fatality (not that we would hope to see it in the life, you know?).
scoobe 01-06-2004, 01:45 PM This is the thread that won't die. Very strange reading folks, very strange. Didn't know you were carrying a child, Joe. :smash:  :smash:
Iwannakeeper 01-06-2004, 02:09 PM Ok...if we are going to talk about movies - has anyone seen "Bad Santa"?
chris L 01-06-2004, 04:03 PM well Joe I havent really watch the series so I cant give an honest opinion . .
the first one wasnt all that good but ended up with a large fan base . my kids saw the 2nd one and said it wasnt as good as the first .
Ive seen plenty of death in my very short life .
Notaro 01-07-2004, 12:58 AM my friends said they were good. what do u watch instead anyway, chris l?

Rappin Mikey 01-07-2004, 03:00 PM Chris, you forgot about your favorite flick "Tacos pescados" It is a latin film.:faga:
Iwannakeeper 01-07-2004, 03:08 PM Mikey it sounds like that might be an adult feature film as well?
:smash: :smash: :smash:
jugstah 01-13-2004, 05:38 PM Tremors was good, Tremors 2 was taking it a bit too far, and tremors 3 just sucked so hard I swore they were trying to suck an egg through a straw with an old lady suffering from emphsyema.. anyways...
notaro, gotta let you know, i must've come down with something nasty last week.. i was sick as a dog, my stomach hurted, swore it was my spleen, i coughed like a mofo, and the works... i was pretty sure i didnt buy any notaro dolls... then just when i was getting better, i got hammered with bronchitis...
talk about being sick then sick some more...
I'm just glad it wasn't a Notaro Syndrome.
:laughs:
NilsC 03-22-2004, 07:56 PM Where is my comission for the sale of Notaro dolls? I was expecting a fat check... or was it a rubber check..
something is bouncing that is for sure:D
The cost of FEB is up, I need the check to continue cranking out the dolls:rolleyes:
UserRemoved1 03-22-2004, 07:59 PM It's ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE:laughs:
jugstah 03-22-2004, 08:19 PM Good grief!
I'm sure you won't be getting any checks, cuz if there were any money to be had, Notaro will be laughing all the way to the nearest Marina for a complete fishin' boat with the works.
Fish_n_Dive 03-22-2004, 08:36 PM i thought this had died off long ago:smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash:

Sweetieface 03-23-2004, 11:54 AM This thread hasn't traveled much in the past few months huh?
How is everyone?
When do we fish?
I've somehow managed to untangle both of my reels, one seemed to work itself out and the other I just hacked at till I found the end of the line and restrung it...
Anyone seen Dawn of the Dead yet??

I'm fine. Are you still fishing on North Shore water? I played with my new fishing rods in a kung-fu fashion. I will fish after MSBA expo.
Dawn of the Dead? No I heaven't. I am hoping to watch Resident Evil 2: Apocalypse.
jugstah 03-23-2004, 03:20 PM I watched Passion of the Christ in a movie theater a few weeks ago, did you see it yet? wow, all tose people crying as we left the theater... I sniffled a bit but only cuz there was some moody soundtrack playing...
Raven 03-27-2004, 10:34 PM from FEMA....something about wanting everyones real name and address that are connected to Striped-bass.com because of some viral outbreak they seriously need to manage. I said: "Bull#^&#^&#^&#^&" and they said: OH yeah, then look outside and i did and SAW all these guys in white jumpsuits and glass helmets that were running around taking samples with Qtip swabs and sealing them in these little test tubes for further analysis. Some of them were armed and looking very serious. I think there's an all points bulletin out for NOTARO... or something like that...
jugstah 03-28-2004, 10:45 PM I missed the MSBA but the feds were rumored to be all over the MSBA show, looking for Notaro, and apparently they are humiliated becuz they all walked right by him, and some of 'em got infected something nasty...
Notaro 03-28-2004, 10:46 PM I'm da man, aren't i?:p
Raven 03-28-2004, 11:45 PM listened for..he cannot be heard
