I love beer, and I would say that there is no favorite overall, allthough many beers have their place.

Hot afternoon = Hoegarden
Savor slowly = Chimay Grande Reserve
Desert = Any good Framboise
Want a few stiff ones = Dogfish 90 min IPA
Dinner = Wine please
General Purpose = I'm fine with Sam Lager, Harpoon, Buzzards Bay, they are all good
Meal in a bottle = Sam Smiths Stout
Working with my neighbor = Bud from a can ;)
Memories of youth = Coors for sure, perhaps some Dog Style

Molson does. Drank a lot of that when I was up in Halifax

brews

Hey spence, a beer for every occasion, eh?

Here's mine:

Everyday beer: Amstel Light
Desert beer: Chimay Cinque Cents
After dinner, relaxing beers: Harpoon IPA, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, or Guiness Stout (widget can)

Bad beers: any american light beer (get that crap out of my cooler!) :D

Fungus 08-20-2004 05:19 PM

I am also fond of pilsner urquell for a lighter style beer.

On the darker side the Ipswish Ale Oatmeal Stout is quite good.

Bud for everyday after work I'm just plain thirsty drinkin'.

Beck's or Pauli Girls when I have the cash to splurge.

Rob Rockcrawler 08-22-2004 10:17 PM

Newcastle for me please. I love that stuff with dinner its not much for drinking in quantity. Bass... ya gotta love the name and a fine brew as well.

RiverRatt 08-23-2004 06:59 PM

Everyday beer Bud......
When I go out to eat gotta have Bass or Guiness :)

bud8fan 08-24-2004 07:01 PM

I have always been the type of beer drinker that wasnt very fond of any heavy beers! So I opt for BudLight(some of you call it pi$$water). I will drink my Dad's Miller Lite if I am out and am starting to believe the commercial that has been on quite alot lately. Lite does have more taste than BudLight but due to obvious reasons that I am sure you all can figure out I wont switch!!:D :D

Jim O 08-25-2004 09:58 AM

beer

My favorite is FREE after that gritty McDuffs porter Red Hook porter and the old stand by Guiness. A hot day working in the yard -Buzzards Bay lager real cold:gu: Drink a beer that tastes like beer.
