This has nothing to do with this thread and the fact that people here want to do something to help,
but I just can't help to think that,
Some of the most creative minds in this country are busy at this minute coming up with scams to swindle people out of money while making them think it's going to help down there!!!

Not much but I will be giving most of my $ donation to the Katrina relief through work where it will get doubles.

I also remember the Red Cross taking money from the donations. I also think Red Cross takes a percentage of the money donated for themselves.
I also heard the salvation army is the better route.

Here are a few plugs to be donated for Katrina. Like the other fund raiser I decided to pull some from my stash in the living room. I figure these will do better than just putting up 5 plugs of mine. To builders whos' plugs I am donating please don't take this the wrong way. I am giving plugs that I would keep for myself but feel this is a better cause. There is a swimmer made by Tobias, a danny made by Capesams, a popper made by BigFish, a surfster made by me and a needle made by Bassmaster. Please bid these up as they didn't come easily.

Okay. Set of 3 cutting boards, as of yet unfisnished, but started nonetheless. Winner no longer has to hear wife complain about him using the "good cutting board", as he will have his own. I'll meet and/or drop them off to the winner, as they're pretty heavy. They'll look a bit like this picture -- some bathroom furniture I painted previously.

i keep trying the paypal link on the katrina page and it doesn't seem to work...
