No prob Shawn, just, uhh, we're going for Bass, not Cod, and from Shore, not boat :D ;)

Spare Spool 07-11-2002 01:10 PM

Hey John, I'm assuming my earlier post just missed your eye :D .

Can I bring anything food or drink wise?

And, just wondering how the fishing is being organized. Wondering what gear to bring. Thanks.

shawn_in_MA 07-11-2002 01:24 PM

cod, bass, whale, tuna.. they gotta be related somehow :) :) :) and really that boat was trailered on shore :)

JohnR 07-11-2002 01:59 PM

hehehe....

S.O.t.B. - Dunno, chips & dip? Soda or Water?

Bring the gear you figure you would normally fish...

Oh - BTW, no booze, certainly for the cookout begind M&Ds... Well, for all "legs" as I would hate one of the shop owners to get burned by the Boyz if some opened, uhh, beverages were found :smash:

STOB, Food and drink are always welcome. It's better to have too much.

As for fishing, some people will be doing the ditch, some going to the Cape, some probably heading to the South Shore, bring tackle for the way you want to fish and hook up with someone who wants to do the same.

Spare Spool 07-11-2002 02:27 PM

OK, I'll bring some chips and salsa and a case of coke. Sound good?

Just trying to figure out if I should bring my ditch gear or my beach/plugging gear. Decisions decisions....

Between my work schedule and my wife's the food isn't apparently going to buy or cook itself :(. What can I bring that I can buy at shaws on the way down? Soda, chips, maybe 5 lbs potatoe salad, plates, forks, what you need boys?

I'll see you guys at 3 pm, but I've got my brother-in-law down and he's not a big shore guy or equiped for it, so we might just have the boat in tow. Is there going to be room out back to put it John? I'd like to know before hauling it down there.

Thanks.

JohnR 07-11-2002 09:04 PM

No prob & no prob... There is pleny of parking along the river behind the shop. Should be room for the truck & boat...

Sure, Potato Salad & chips sounds good... although we never seem to eat any chips.

Here is the map - it is on Main St:
